Project Background
Rokoko is a leading motion capture company providing hardware and software for animators and creators worldwide. In 2022, Rokoko partnered with E-types for a full rebrand, redefining their visual language across all platforms. My role focused on translating this new direction into everyday brand assets, building consistency from packaging and print to digital templates and merchandising.
The Challenge
The task was to unify all Rokoko’s brand touchpoints under the new identity and bringing clarity and cohesion to all brand communication. Deliverables needed to stand out visually, support a fast-moving tech environment, and reinforce Rokoko’s position as a creative leader in motion capture technology.

IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
The First Steps
Before rolling out any visual assets, I took a strategic approach to fully understand the new Rokoko brand system and its intended impact. This foundation phase involved close collaboration, careful analysis, and detailed planning to ensure every execution was true to the brand’s vision and scalable across every touchpoint.
Understanding the Brand Manual
I began by thoroughly studying the comprehensive brand manual provided by E-types. This document defined the brand’s visual DNA and covering everything from typography and logo rules to color palette and photographic style. I translated these guidelines into actionable frameworks that could be consistently applied across all channels.
Design Audit
I conducted an audit of Rokoko’s existing assets like slides, social templates, packaging, and print materials, to identify legacy elements, areas for improvement, and points of friction. This step revealed inconsistencies in visual style and messaging, highlighting where the new brand creates the most impact and updates were most urgent.
Priorities & Rollout Approach
With a clear landscape and goals, I worked with the team to prioritize high-impact touchpoints, such as company slides, Quick Start guides, and social media branding. The rollout plan balanced urgent business needs, visibility, and user value, ensuring smooth adoption of the new brand system across teams.
Implementation Plan
I narrowed down templates, checklists, and documentation to streamline the asset creation and the upcoming process of updating them. This allowed for efficient, repeatable application of the new brand identity and made it easy for all team members to maintain consistency as new deliverables were produced.

Email Communication
A visually streamlined email template in Ortto was crucial, prioritizing a clear information hierarchy with bold headlines and lively imagery. This unified approach boosts brand recognition across campaigns and makes it easier for teams to tailor messages for different audiences.

Headrig Packaging
I created the packaging for Rokoko Headrig, the first product introduced under the new brand system. The design emphasizes brand recognition, minimalism, and practicality, focusing on a cohesive unboxing experience that complements the innovative hardware inside.

Quick Start Guides
I designed concise, user-centric manuals to help customers assemble and operate Rokoko hardware products with confidence. The guides are clear and practical, guiding users step by step while connecting them with additional help resources for a smooth onboarding experience.
